Course Overview

CPCCLDG3001 – Licence to Perform Dogging covers the practical skills and knowledge required to safely perform dogging work in line with WHS legislation and industry requirements. The course addresses how to plan a lift, calculate load weight and centre of gravity, select and inspect lifting equipment and gear, and direct the movement of loads using correct signals and communication methods.
Training is delivered by experienced industry trainers and is available at our facility or on-site across Western Australia. On successful completion of training and assessment, participants can apply to WorkSafe WA for their High Risk Work Licence in the Dogging (DG) class.
Note that completing this course does not automatically result in a licence — the licence is issued by WorkSafe WA following a satisfactory assessment outcome.
